Onsite Support Services

Executive Order 2020-51 requires schools to provide on-site support services so that  students who need a place to go or who have specific needs are well-supported, and children are enabled to continue effective distance learning successfully.

The intention of the Governor’s Order is that we serve the more vulnerable students in our district, such as the children of first responders, those with special education services, English language learners (ELL) or homeless and foster care students. The district currently offers free, on-site support services at Liberty, Freedom, and Rainbow Valley school sites. The multi-purpose rooms will be open for students to be able to use Chromebooks with internet connection to complete their distance learning. Children will be supervised by a support staff member for safety.
