School #7 Planned for August 2021

Liberty Elementary School District voters approved bond funding to build School #7 in the northern area of the school district in the Blue Horizons community. The school is expected to serve families in Blue Horizon, Vista de Montana and areas north of these two communities. The school will be built with both bond funding and Arizona School Facility Board (SFB) funds . The SFB is expected to approve funding for about half of the construction costs in December 2020. The district has developed two options for construction: 1) With SFB approval - open K-5 in August 2021 and add 6th-8th grades over the next three years or 2) Without SFB approval - open K-2 in August 2021 and postpone second phase of construction until SFB approves at a later date. 

Community input is needed as we begin planning for the design of educational programs and facilities. Provide your input on the school name, colors, and mascot on this survey.

June 3rd, 6:00-7:30 PM - Architecture Design
June 16th, 6:00-7:30 PM - Architecture Design
