TRADITIONAL DELIVERY WITH MITIGATION STRATEGIES TO BEGIN OCTOBER 22, 2020 FOR IN-PERSON LEARNING STUDENTS

The Governing Board discussed recent guidelines provided by the Center for Disease Control. The Board approved revisions to the Liberty District Health Benchmarks to guide instructional delivery models. While no changes were made to the three benchmarks or the data sets, a change was made to the requirement for traditional delivery to meet two of the three benchmarks for two consecutive weeks with mitigation strategies of social distancing to the extent possible and masks and all three benchmarks without the identified mitigation strategies.

The district has met the benchmarks for percent positivity below 5% and for the percent of hospital visits with COVID-like conditions below 5%. All In-Person Learning students will begin school with a traditional full-day schedule on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with early release on Wednesdays starting October 22nd.
